FIFA World Cup - Official Anthem

The Howling Wolf Group were approached by Sony Music International to look at creating The Official Anthem for FIFA World Cup, Brazil.

Being one of the most watched televised events in the world, it was important to create an enduring anthem that crossed borders and delivered top class talent and a strong, positive message capturing the values of Brazil.

Howling Wolf put together the team, working with Avicii, Wyclef Jean, Santana and Alexandre Pires and a host of top writers (including Carl Falk and Rami).  We came up with the initial lyric and concept for 'Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find a Way)', a song aimed at bringing together people from every nation, pushing Brazilian positivity and the 'typical' Brazilian belief that anything is possible.

The song was performed live by the artists at the Closing Ceremony of The World Cup at The Maracana Mário Filho Stadium in Rio De Janeiro and was subsequently also synched to the firework display as Germany were awarded the World Cup.

Howling Wolf Group were also commissioned to create the artwork for the Official FIFA 2014 album - One Love One Rhythm, which became a top 10 hit in several territories around the world.

6 Nations Championship Anthem
The Howling Wolf Group worked for over 2 years consulting 6 Nations Rugby Limited on the creation of an Official Championship Anthem, with a view to launching (for the first time) a powerful and enduring  sonic identity for the sport.  Working closely with The 6 Nations Chief Executive and Commercial Manager, The Howling Wolf Group developed the framework and brief for the project, before starting on the creative execution.

Bringing in an array of very established international producers, Howling Wolf Productions worked on creating various top class demos/pieces of music, to enable senior management to select one fitting anthem to represent the sporting body.  Once this one piece was chosen, Executive Producer, Arnon Woolfson worked over a number of months with the chosen Producer to complete the final recording and production of ‘Six Together’, the music chosen to represent the sonic identity of The 6 Nations.  This song is used at every one of The RBS 6 Nations games.

Cancer Research UK
The Howling Wolf Group spent has spent many years nurturing and strategising, developing and building Sound & Vision, an annual event run by Cancer Research UK at Abbey Road Studios.  The purpose of the event:  To raise money, profile and awareness for the Charity.  The Howling Wolf Group were responsible for restructuring and building the foundations for the event by bringing in industry partners (including the likes of LiveNation, Sony Music, Warner, Universal EMI, Absolute Radio, LD Communications etc) as well as artists/talent to perform.  Additionally we were able to secure some high value donations from well known artists which sold at the live auction, raising over £300k per year.

The event has been hosted by several well known personalities including Al Murray, Dermot O’Leary and Whispering Bob Harris with artist line-ups including Paul Weller, Kelly Jones/The Stereophonics, Tom Jones, Robert Plant with Sir George Martin as Patron.
